EMMA RADUCANU rose to superstardom as a qualifier after her incredible triumph at the US Open last September.
And that led to endorsements from major global brands keen to pay her big bucks to be her poster child, including Dior, Vodafone, Tiffany & Co, Porsche and HSBC.
Although the British star’s agent Max Eisenbud has said she has snubbed MILLIONS of pounds as she limits her sponsorship days to 18 a year to find the right balance between tennis and her endorsements.
Eisenbud said: “I would imagine by the end of the year the number of days she’s been using will be around 13.
“But when day 19 comes and it’s millions of dollars at stake, you have to say ‘no’ because you’re going to be on the 18 days.
“If she had zero shooting dates, everything would be the same. It’s been a tough year.
“It probably went out, she had a lot of bad luck and what really hurt her was catching Covid and not having a great off-season and then she caught up.
“But I think if she had zero filming dates, everything would be the same.
“I know on the outside that you guys want to look at all these things – but if she locked herself in the room all year and didn’t do anything, I think it would be the same.”
