Emily in Paris Season 4 Release Updates, Cast, Filming and More

It’s almost time to see Emily and all her misadventures in Paris again in the upcoming season of Emily in Paris on Netflix. Emily in Paris Season 3 is coming soon and we’re lucky to have it too Emily in Paris Season 4 on the way.

The series was renewed for two seasons for seasons 3 and 4 in January 2022, not long after the second season premiered on Netflix in December 2021. While the series wasn’t well-loved by critics, the popular romantic comedy has fans been a big hit.

As the Season 3 premiere nears and more information about the next two seasons is released, we’ll learn more about it Emily in Paris Season 4. Here’s everything we know so far, including filming, a release window, and if Season 4 could be the last.

When will Emily in Paris Season 4 be filmed?

Filming began in June 2022 Emily in Paris Season 3, and judging by the time it took Season 2 to film last year, we were expecting to finish filming by the end of the summer. However, the series remained in production.

In September 2022, Variety confirmed a suspicion that Emily in Paris season 3 and Emily in Paris Season 4 was shot back-to-back. Although further details on the production schedule for season 4 have not yet been released, in fact season 4 is currently being filmed in Paris.

If we had to make an educated guess, we’d expect production to wrap up sometime this fall before the end of the year. As soon as Netflix or the cast announces that filming for the season is complete, we’ll be sure to let fans know!

Emily in Paris Season 4 Release Updates

The first season of Emily in Paris was released in October 2020 and the following season was dropped the following December. Based on this schedule, we expect Season 3 to arrive in either late 2022 or early 2023 Emily in Paris Season 4 will be released in mid to late 2023.

Since the seasons will be filmed back-to-back, Season 4 should have finished filming by the time Season 3 is released on Netflix. Therefore, the wait could be much shorter, although there is still around five months of post-production to be expected.

In the third season, Lucien Laviscount was promoted to a series regular and the rest of the main cast from the first and second seasons returned. Assuming the cast stays the same after season 3, here’s the current main cast of Emily in Paris:

Is Emily in Paris season 4 the final season?

Netflix didn’t state that Emily in Paris Season 4 will be the final season. However, if any fans are fed up with the two-season renewal filmed back-to-back, that’s understandable. In some cases, this could mean “last season”.

But many other Netflix original series were renewed for two seasons or filmed back-to-back and continued to thrive. Virgin River and heart stopper are two recent Netflix shows that have earned commissions for two seasons and both like Emily, are hits.
