His tweet read: “Welcome back to Twitter my friend!”
One of Musk’s supporters responded by saying, “The two men who will save freedom of speech and the free world,” along with a photo of Ye and Musk standing together.
Another person responded to Musk’s tweet to Kanye by sharing their own opinion on Facebook.
“facebook, [Meta]has generally become the worst social media platform ever, who agrees with me?”

Just hours before Musk tweeted to Ye, the father of four who shares children with his ex-wife Kim KardashianShe posted a tweet aimed at Mark Zuckerberg, suggesting the meta boss had kicked him off Instagram.
“Look at this Mark,” he said in the tweet, along with him and a picture of Zuckerburg together. “How you kicked me off Instagram.”
“You used to be mine [n-word].”
A meta spokesman confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that the company has deleted content from the rapper’s Instagram account.
Also, a restriction has been placed on the account, although the account is still visible.
Meta Tech has a policy to impose restrictions on users after repeated violations, which may temporarily prevent the user from sharing posts, making comments, or sending direct messages.
Before Kanye returned to the app on Friday, he hadn’t been on Twitter since November 2020.
By this time he had left both Instagram and Twitter but returned to Instagram in early 2021.
Just a few months before he left the app for two years, Kanye was banned from Twitter for 12 hours after posting private information.
His first after returning to the social media platform on Friday simply said “2024”.
Kanye’s tweet also included a photo of a black hat with large white numbers on the brim that also said “2024.”
When the American rapper ran for president in 2020, Musk also took to Twitter to show his support for his friend’s presidential campaign.
“We must now fulfill America’s promise by trusting God, uniting our vision, and building our future,” Kanye tweeted in July 2020.

“I’m running for President of the United States United States flag!”
Musk soon responded to Kanye’s tweet by saying, “You have my full support!”
