Eleven people were killed, including three teenagers, and 14 others were injured in a nationwide shootout in another weekend of deadly gun violence.
The shootings took place from Friday through Sunday, but most of the brutal attacks happened in several different states on Saturday.
Five different shoots took place almost entirely in one day in St. Louis, Missouri.
The violence began around 1.30am on Saturday when police discovered the body of a teenager aged between 15 and 17.
Later in the day, a 35-year-old man was shot and killed multiple times in the Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood, police said around 5:30 p.m.
Less than two hours later, police said a teenager had been shot and killed around 7 p.m.
According to Fox2now, police responded to at least two other shootings, but no other deaths were reported in those incidents.
One of the shootings took place just after 4 p.m. A 21-year-old man was hit in the leg while attempting to steal a car.
The man was taken to the hospital, his condition is unknown.
Police said the suspect sped away in the victim’s white 2021 Honda Accord.
The other shooting happened on Friday in the Bevo district.
According to police, a man was shot in the right side of his face and right eyelid. His condition is unknown.
People in a gold Infinity limousine followed him home before they started shooting at him, the man told police.
A 28-year-old man was fatally shot while standing with a group of people outside Christ Medical Center in the Oak Lawn neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois.
It was around 2 a.m. Saturday when Marques Rose, 38, shot and killed Brandon McGee, police said.
McGee was hit in the left eye and taken to the hospital.
However, he died 12 hours later, officials said.
Police were able to catch Rose after officers saw him running away from the scene. He was taken into custody and a loaded revolver was seized.
Rose was charged with first-degree murder.
According to police, the shooting was believed to be linked to another shooting that had occurred in Gresham less than two hours earlier.
Authorities found two men fatally shot around 12:55 a.m. on Chicago’s South Side.
One of the men suffered two gunshot wounds to the chest and was taken to a hospital in Oak Lawn where he died, police said.
The other man was shot in the head, police said, and later also died at a local hospital.
A handgun was found at the scene.
Just before 11:15 a.m. Saturday, Duquares Smith, 38, was found with multiple gunshot wounds on the Scenic Highway in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, police officers said.
Smith died from his gunshot wounds.
Two people were injured in another shooting around 9:15 p.m. Saturday in Shreveport, KTBS reported.
Police say people from two vehicles shot at each other.
At least 17 shell casings were found by police at the scene.

Cops told the outlet there could be a third possible victim.
A 22-year-old man was left in critical condition after an exchange of fire from a moving car.
The man was shot while out for a walk in Warren, Michigan.
Police found the man around 12:25 p.m. Saturday with a gunshot wound to the lower abdomen.
Investigators believe the man was traveling with a group of three when a dark-colored Kia and a white Toyota appeared and began firing on the group, Click On Detroit reported.
The victim, who was later taken to hospital, then fired back at both vehicles and the cars drove away in separate directions.
Police were called to assist the Nueces County Sheriff’s Office in a car chase involving a stolen vehicle in Corpus Christi, Texas, around 3:07 p.m. Saturday.
The suspected driver eventually fell and three people fled on foot, police officers said.
According to the police, one of the suspects shot an officer during the pursuit.
The officer then shot back and hit the suspect.
Both the officer and the suspect were taken to a local hospital.
“The officer sustained serious injuries but is expected to recover,” the Corpus Christi Police Department said.
The condition of the suspect who was shot is unclear.
The police were able to catch and take into custody two other suspects – a 16-year-old and a 19-year-old. A pistol was secured.
A man and a teenager were shot dead in Macon, Georgia on Saturday.
Police were called to the scene just after 5pm when they found Tylik Emmanual Young, 22, shot dead. He died at the scene.
Another victim, 18-year-old Jordan Shamone Young, was taken to a hospital in a private car, police officers said.
Jordan is in stable condition, according to police.
It is not known whether the two victims were related.
Shortly after 6:45 p.m. Saturday, police in Durham, North Carolina, found a man who had been shot.
Police also said the man’s vehicle was stolen that night.
The man was taken to a local hospital.
His injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, police said.
A man was shot in the leg before 9:30 a.m. Saturday at an apartment building in Stuart, Fla.
Police are looking for Ri’ahj Lee Thomas, 20, who they believe entered an apartment at the intersections at Indian Run and shot the man.
Thomas fled the scene after the shooting, police said.
The victim is expected to survive, WPBF reported.
Later that day, at around 3.18pm, an elderly couple was fatally shot in a housing complex in Stuart.
“We actually had units quite close by,” Martin County Sheriff William Snyder told the outlet.
“We arrived within a minute or two and saw two people on the ground floor of this condominium. They appeared to be deceased.”
Police determined the shooter was at an apartment above where the couple was shot in the Cedar Point community.
The shooter is also older and likely lives in a unit above the couple, the outlet reported.
“Our SWAT team happened to be in the area because they used to be at a parade for security, so they used good tactics to get the suspect to come out and surrender. We recovered the gun,” Snyder said.
The suspect was taken into custody.
“Some of the neighbors are giving the impression that it was probably a neighborhood dispute,” Snyder said.
A group of young people were playing basketball on an outdoor court at Florida A&M University when a man started shooting at them.
The suspected gunman, Da’vhon Sharai Young, 22, killed one victim and injured four others around 4.30pm on Sunday, police said.
“A suspect walked toward the outdoor basketball courts and began shooting into a crowd,” the Tallahassee Police Department said.
“When the shooting occurred, more than a dozen people were on the basketball courts both playing and watching the games.”
Travis “TJ Huntley” was the only person killed in the shooting.
He was only 20 and played on the collegiate basketball team at FAMU Developmental Research School, a K-12 laboratory school affiliated with the college, FSUNews.com reported.
“There was something special about him, and I always thought that,” Dione Desir, Travis’ former basketball coach, said of him.
Among the four wounded are three men and a 16-year-old boy, all of whom are expected to survive.
Young was arrested and charged with four counts of attempted murder and one count of first degree murder.
