Eight people were arrested when a woman was ‘thrown onto the Philadelphia subway tracks’ by a group that also tried to push the man onto the street

EIGHT who was arrested in connection with two incidents at two SEPTA train lines.

Two groups of teenagers are said to have run around terminals 8 and 11 attacking people, including a woman who was pushed onto the tracks.

The power to Terminal 11 was cut off, preventing trains from entering. Woman injured her wrist.

It is unclear if the woman was part of the group.

In a similar situation at 8 Street Station, members of the group started pushing a man onto the tracks, but he fought back and didn’t fall.

SEPTA police tried to stop the group. So far, eight people have been arrested, however, police believe many people are involved.

All eight are of high school age and authorities are investigating the surveillance footage.
