A PLUMBER has shared eerie footage of what he saw after being hired for a job at Jeffrey Dahmer’s childhood home in Bath, Ohio.
TikTok user Jon JP detailed his experience at the infamous serial killer’s former home, where Dahmer dismembered his first corpse in a basement crawl space.
In two videos from September, Jon explained that he ended up inside after receiving a call from “a man” who was having problems with water leaks at his home.
“So we come here to get the job done and find out that this is Jeffrey Dahmer’s old house,” he said.
Jon then aimed the camera at a room in the house and said the current owner told him it was the room where Dahmer killed his first victim.
The current owner reportedly now uses the room as his office.
Called inside a second time, Jon was able to see the crawl space where Dahmer dismembered the body of his first victim and the interior of what is now the home office.
“That’s what the homeowner told us [Dahmer] actually drove around Bath, Ohio with the guy in garbage bags and even got pulled over but the officer let him go,” Jon wrote.
In fact, Dahmer killed and dismembered his first victim, 18-year-old hitchhiker Steven Hicks, at the Ohio home when he was 18.
Dahmer dissected Hicks’ body in the basement of his family home before burying the remains in the garden.
A few weeks later, he dug up the body and dissolved it in acid before smashing the bones into pieces with a sledgehammer and burying them again in his backyard.
As seen in the popular Netflix series Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, Dahmer was pulled over by police while the remains of hitchhiker Hicks were in garbage bags in the back seat of his car, but were released.
The Dahmer family moved to Ohio from Wisconsin when the killer was a child — and soon after, according to old neighbors, pets started disappearing from the gardens.
Locals who shared a neighborhood with Dahmer told how cats were found impaled on trees and dogs’ heads on spikes just meters from his home.
According to the children who lived on his street, he developed an “intense interest” in dead animals from an early age – starting with insects and then “road kill.”
Dahmer chopped up animals in a disconcerting manner and kept them in a series of jars in what he called a “shack” at the back of his family’s home.
Finally, between 1978 and 1991, an adult Dahmer killed, dismembered, and ate the bodies of seventeen men and boys.
