Eddie Hearn Reveals Date for Joshua vs Usyk II

Eddie Hearn confirmed that Anthony Joshua with. Oleksandr Usyk II will face off against each other next. After all the drama of the past few weeks, with a waiver offer and other complications, Hearn has finally quelled the rumors.

In an interview with BBCHearn revealed when the fight will take place and where he prefers for the clash:

“And it’s clear now that after all the talk of the last few months it’s clear that AJ is going to fight Usyk, that’s his preferred choice and I’ve talked to [Usyk’s promoter] Alex Krassyuk last week. We’ll get together this week and start putting that together. I think May is when you’ll see that fight. UK, USA, Middle East, we got offers from all over the world for that war. I want to do it in the UK, and we’ll see. “

🥊 “AJ wants to be world champion again” @EddieHearn trust for @AnthonyJoshua to be World Champion again, that Oleksandr Usyk is on his way there! @Boxing_Social

Boxing promoter Matchroom wants the fight to take place in the UK like last time. However, Usyk is now a champion and his promoter will likely be looking to secure an ideal venue for his boxer. It will be interesting to see if Hearn goes his way or Usyk and his team get the final word on the location of the fight.

Eddie Hearn predicts how many pay-per-view purchases Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte will do

Eddie Hearn has been surrounded by the media for the past few days as he promotes the fight between Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor. In an interview with IFL TV, Hearn predicted the pay-per-view buy Tyson Fury with. Dillian Whyte fight will happen on BT Sport Box Office:

“BT Sport Box Office. It’s a big fight, eight hundred thousand buys. Seven to eight hundred thousand buys, will break all BT records, this will be a big number for them.”

Check out the interview below:

Hearn represents Dillian Whyte and will clearly want the fight to sell as many pay-per-views. The fight was a big one for the hierarchy of the heavyweight division. However, ‘The Body Snatcher’ is not a household name. If the fight is sold, it will be successful mainly because of Tyson Fury. Only time will tell the accuracy of Eddie Hearn’s prediction.
