EastEnders spoilers – fans shocked as top character leaves court over Janine; plus Coronation Street & Emmerdale News

Janine Butcher takes drastic measures to get rid of Linda Carter

EASTENDERS fans are shocked after Janine Butcher stole £50,000 from Nancy Carter to pay her mum Linda to leave Walford for good.

The schemer – who is played by actress Charlie Brooks in the BBC soap – had offered Linda her life savings of £25,000 to ditch Albert Square.

But Linda, who had been turned down by ex Mick, insisted she needed £50,000 – assuming Janine couldn’t muster the money.

However, after Janine saw that Nancy was willing to pay the full amount for her new restaurant business, she got to work.

She called an old cheating friend to pose as a real estate agent to take Nancy and Zack’s money via bank transfer and posed as Nancy herself with the real one to turn down the property.

And even if she had to pay her pal 50 per cent – she walked away with £25,000 to add to her own to pay off Linda.

Fans are shocked that Janine would cheat on Mick’s daughter like that.

One wrote: “Janine cheated on her boyfriend’s daughter she’s sinking deeper but isn’t surprised to be honest.”

A second said: “Hoo hoo hoo 😬 Janine pays Linda off to get out of Walford by ripping off her daughter!! 😬😂😬😂 I have to love Janine!”

Another added: “‘What have you done? Rob a bank?’ *Your daughter.”
