EastEnders lore among mourners as On The Buses star Anna Karen rests

EASTENDERS legends were among those mourning who paid their respects to On The Buses star Anna Karen as she was laid to rest.

The ’70s actress, who is best known for her role as Olive on the TV sitcom, died in a fire at her home last month.

Former members of EastEnders, including John Altman, 70, who plays ‘Nasty’ Nick Cotton are among the respected.

Vicki Michelle, 71 years old, from ‘Allo’ Allo! laid a wreath at Anna’s funeral at Golders Green crematorium on Friday.

Former model Linda Lusardi, 63, also shed tears for Anna, along with her husband Sam Kane.

A touching note was left on the flower as she was taken to the crematorium.

A tribute from fan club One The Buses was also placed among the flowers.

It read: “Thanks for all the laughter you brought to so many people as Olive, rest in peace, we will miss you.”
