THE Twitter verse went berserk Wednesday night after a suspected DoorDash driver walked onto the court during a college basketball game.

On ESPN The commentator joked while rewatching the clip that it appeared the delivery was for “the referee!” The officer suggested, “said, ‘Later, give it to me later!'”

While another joked that it’s “cheaper than arena food [laughing emoji]”

However, one person who had a front row seat to everything has provided a new perspective on the incident and they have shed some light on what appears to have really happened.

Austin HansenHe, who said he was working on one of the TV cameras on the sidelines at the time, posted close-ups of the incident.

He added: “1. I didn’t order McDonalds even though it was “delivered” just a few steps from my camera position.”

“2. This boy clearly pranked Youtube/TikTok. You can see he’s wearing a microphone and lots of students filmed him on their phones.”

A closer shot of the alleged DoorDash driver actually appears to show a microphone on his collar.

Hansen continued, “3. They didn’t kick him out. He just walked back into the stands with his McDonalds in hand.”

Fans have since responded, such as one saying, “Great view that shows how wrong it is.”

Another seemingly frustrated fan said: “Everything is happy. Life is now just an ongoing grip for content creators. Nothing is real.”

Luckily for the home team Duquesne, the stoppage didn’t affect the result as the Dukes defeated Loyola 72-58.
