Dying Light 2 Minimum PC Specifications Revealed

Dying Light 2 will need some pretty high PC specs if you want to play with ray tracing.

Techland released Dying Light 2PC’s system requirements and gamers may be shocked. Techland recommends the RTX 3080 to play at 1080p, 60fps, with ray tracing.

We’ll start with the minimal, much more reasonable system requirements. If you’re looking for a more console-like experience with 1080p resolution at 30fps, then you’ll only need the quad-core processor and the GTX 1050 Ti. Nvidia has recently reissued this card due to global chip shortage, so it shouldn’t be too hard to get to. You can also get a Radeon RX 560 if you have one, but AMD hasn’t re-released those cards so it can be a bit hard to find.

For speeds up to 60fps, Techland recommends the RTX 2060 with 16GB of RAM. Nvidia also recently announced The updated RTX 2060 will be on store shelves soon, so you can find one for a reasonable price.

If you’re looking to play Dying Light 2 with ray tracing, Techland recommends the RTX 2070 or RX Vega 56 GPU as a minimum. This will still only get you 1080p resolution at 30fps.

And finally, if you want the best possible PC experience, Techland says you should have the RTX 3080 handy. It just regularly runs out of stock for months and is probably the hardest PC component to find in the world right now, so there’s no pressure or anything. Even if you have, Techland only promises 1080p resolution at 60fps.
