DWTS Champion Brooke Burke slams “DIVA” Tyra Banks and says the host’s records are a “struggle” after the show was downgraded to Disney+

Brooke, who also formerly hosted the show herself, described taping Tyra as a “struggle” after the show was downgraded from ABC to Disney+.

The Sun received an exclusive clip of the actress opening with David Yontef on Behind The Velvet Rope, where Brooke, 50, said: “She’s a diva. Everyone knows she’s a diva.”
She added: “It’s tough. It’s a live show. And I know these live tapings are a behind-the-scenes struggle.”
DWTS is moving from ABC to Disney+ after 30 seasons, following low ratings and backlash over Tyra’s hosting.
The former supermodel became the show’s first-ever solo host for season 29 after longtime host Tom Bergeron and his co-host Erin Andrews were fired.

Many fans were shocked when she stayed at the helm for Season 30.
There was even a fan petition to replace her on Change.org that garnered thousands upon thousands of signatures.
Brooke, who has appeared on the show as both a competitor and co-host, told David that she felt the show shouldn’t be about its host.
“This is not the place to be a diva. You know, your pros are the diva, your winner, your perfect 10-point dancer who’s never done it. That defines a diva in the ballroom.”
TA-TA-TYRA
However, The Sun has exclusively learned that the long-running reality competition could be ready to ditch Tyra.
“There’s no official decision on who will be hosting next season, but it doesn’t look like Tyra is returning,” a source told The Sun. “Which would be a decision of the network, not their decision.”
The insider doesn’t attribute last season’s poor ratings to the competition, but rather to their presentation.
They added: “The production was a mess with no clear direction as to where to go [the show] went, which is why certain producers have been eliminated in recent months.”
CHAMPIONS JOURNEY
Brooke, who has since found success as a fitness entrepreneur, was introduced to DWTS fans after winning season seven in 2008.
Reflecting on the win, she told the Behind The Velvet Rope podcast, “It was such an achievement. And then it gave me great experience to bring to hosting because I knew what it was like, you know. It was a different shift. It really improved my hosting skills.”
However, their Mirror Ball journey has not been easy by any means.

“I learned to think like an athlete. I’ve learned not to give up because you somehow want to hurt yourself in the middle of the season. Everyone wants because it’s just too hard. you mean i’m out i want my life back
“I learned how to show up properly.”
