Dulles Town Center mall locked down after active gunman left at least one injured as ‘police officers follow trail of blood’

ONE person was injured after gunfire erupted at a Virginia mall.
Police believe the shooting happened after an argument between two people escalated.

The Dulles Town Center mall in Sterling, Virginia, was placed under lockdown when police received reports of an active gunman just before noon on Sunday.
The police arrested a suspect and are currently clearing the mall.
The public has been urged to stay away from the mall while police continue their investigation.
Authorities are still investigating the circumstances under which the shooting began, according to Tom Julia, a spokesman for the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
