‘Drunk’ Spirit Airlines passenger ‘KILLED a flight attendant and pulled’ the flight attendant’s hair held in place by a lanyard

PERSON on a Spirit Airlines flight from Fort Lauderdale was arrested upon arrival in Nashville, after she allegedly assaulted two flight attendants and was restrained by another passenger with a tether.
Amanda Henry, 42, allegedly punched a flight attendant and pulled another by the hair, telling police officers she had been drinking “a lot” and demanding “shoot me”.
Information on the website of the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office confirms that Henry was arrested for public intoxication on November 27.
According to the Nashville Tennessean, an arrest affidavit said a passenger restrained Henry’s legs with a leash.
Along with the smell of alcohol, Henry has bloodshot eyes, and rambles.
However, the police were able to understand some phrases: Henry used delicate words and said “shoot me” to officers, while insisting she “did nothing wrong.”
The unruly passenger also tried not to let the police close the door of the police car during the arrest.
In an email to the Tennessean, a Spirit Airlines spokesperson thanked “the guests who assisted our crew,” as well as local law enforcement, for handling the incident.
“We will work with the relevant authorities to ensure this individual is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” the statement read.
Reports do not indicate whether Henry was drunk before the flight, or whether she was drunk and belligerent during the trip.
The airline did not confirm whether another passenger restrained Henry, or shared information about the health of the two injured crew members.
