Drug dealer Mac Miller, who supplied fentanyl-laced pills in the rapper’s death, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison

A MAN has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for supplying fentanyl-laced pills that led to the death of rapper Mac Miller in 2018.

Last year, Ryan Reavis, 39, pleaded guilty to a federal charge of distributing fentanyl, US attorneys said.

Another man, Stephen Walter, 49, pleaded guilty to the distribution fee and is awaiting sentencing. Finally, the case against Cameron Pettit, 30, is currently pending.

According to court documents, Reavis, at Walter’s direction, delivered the laced oxycodone pills to the third defendant on September 4, 2018.

Reavis admitted he had prior knowledge of the pills, which contained either fentanyl or another controlled substance. After Reavis handed over the pills, Pettit allegedly delivered them to Miller – whose real name was Malcolm McCormick.

Mueller suffered a fatal overdose at studio city, California Days later, on September 7, 2018. He was 26 years old.

Originally from PittsburghMiller began his career as a teenager, eventually signing with Rostrum Records and releasing his breakthrough mixtape KIDS in 2010.

His album Swimming was released a month before his death in August 2018, the posthumous album Circles was released in 2020.
