DeNarius Allen (@smoothmr.reiki) captioned the clip, “30 years of existence…30 whole years…I had NO idea.”
“We don’t officially know anything,” it said.
“Yes, I left the house at 1 a.m. to try this out.”
The TikTok started showing the video that informed Allen.

As someone grabbed the handle above a car window and pulled a latch underneath to hold it in place, the screen read, “Did you know?”
In disbelief, the TikTok creator said, “First of all, stop playing with me.”
He got up and said, “My keys.”
Allen went to his car, unlocked it and sat in the back seat.
“I know the whole 30 years of my existence well and good,” he said doubtfully as he pulled the handle down.
After finding the little latch and flipping it open with his finger, the TikToker said, “Bro, we really don’t know anything.”
He looked at the latch, which was staying down by itself with the deadbolt, and asked, “Am I the only one who didn’t know?”
Allen continued incredulously, toying with the handle.
“There’s absolutely no such thing,” he said.
“After 30 years of life… we know nothing.”
“It’s official,” he added.
“I do not know anything.”
The man remained amazed.
“I’m questioning everything now,” he said.
“It is official.”
His video has received over 1 million views.
“I have [learned] more on Tiktok [than] “I’ve done that for my entire 27 years of life,” one commented.
“TikTok teaches me more than the education system,” Allen replied.

Another person shared, “I even hung clothes on it and wished it would stay down.” [so many] just…”
“Lol that’s the only purpose I thought it served but that never really worked,” the TikTok creator replied.
