Drivers are just realizing that hidden Tesla ‘frunk’ feature will stop your EV stinking – a simple smell test proves it
A TESLA driver has revealed a trick to stop your food orders from smelling in your car.
Electric vehicles like Teslas have many advantages, such as driving in the HOV lanes without another passenger and the so-called “frunk”.

The frunk is a common name for the front trunk of electric vehicles that can be used as additional storage space.
Gasoline-powered cars would normally house an internal combustion engine in the front hood, but since electric vehicles don’t require one, they can hold all sorts of things, like pizza.
Tesla driver Trevor Laird (@trevsgreatlife) shared how he uses his trunk on TikTok.
“Let me show you the most useful feature of the Tesla frunk,” he said in a video from late August.
Trevor then filmed in his Tesla while parked outside a Pizza Hut.
“Suppose you stop to get a pizza. Just open the trunk.”
He then demonstrated how he placed a pizza box in the front storage compartment of his car.
“So you put the pizza in the trunk and throw it in there.
“And now you can drive home without the smell coming into your car,” Trevor said.
The TikToker said in the caption of his video that the hack “seriously works so well” and that it will “keep your car smelling like new!”
Trevor’s trick might keep your car from smelling, but what about keeping your food warm?
Another TikToker shared a tip for keeping your fast food warm until you get home to eat it.
A content creator for AutoTrader company Vanarama (@vanaramauk) turned on the passenger seat heater in a 2022 video and said, “This isn’t a rear heater.”
The TikToker then placed a takeout fast food bag on the seat and said, “Burger warmer!”
