Drew Barrymore pauses the premiere of his talk show until the writers’ strike ends after the host is convicted of filming

DREW Barrymore has decided to postpone the premiere date of her talk show.
The decision came after the actress received backlash for launching The Drew Barrymore Show for a new season without writers.
“I have listened to everyone and am making the decision to pause the premiere of the show until the strike is over,” Drew said wrote on Instagram on Sunday morning.
“I don’t have the words to sincerely apologize to everyone I hurt and of course to our incredible team who work on the show and made it what it is today.”
She continued: “We were really trying to find the way forward. And I really hope for a solution for the entire industry soon.”
The 48-year-old was scheduled to start the fourth season of her talk show on Monday, September 18th.
The Writer’s Guild of America went on strike in May, just weeks after Drew wrapped season three.
