Winter’s Journey Set in Bavaria (present-day southeastern Germany) in the year 1812. The film will tell the story of a poet who makes a perilous journey across mountains, ice and snow. As it turns out, this tundra-filled world will be built in Dreams. According to a statement, the film “smoothly combines live action with CG and animation”.

The series is being created by London-based studio Oiffy and BreakThru Films (of Netflix Reverse Roe). It was directed by Alex Helfrecht, who worked as a producer on White King. Hugh Welchman, director Love Vincent, will act as producer on Winter’s Journey.
