Drake fans slam his ‘awful’ rendition of Bee Gee’s famous song Staying Alive, saying the new track ‘sounds awful’
DRAKE was slammed for releasing a “terrible” rendition of the Bee Gees’ famous song “Staying Alive.”
The 35-year-old rapper released his own version of the track of the same name, featuring DJ Khaled and Lil Baby.

A sample of the Bee Gees’ 1977 hit is included in the chorus of Drake’s new tune.
He sings an auto-tuned rendition of the original on the new song’s hook and says, “Ah, ah, ah, I’m staying alive / I’m staying alive / I’m staying alive.”
Critics were unimpressed by the new song and shared their frustration on Reddit.
One wrote, “That sounds awful,” while another wrote, “That’s an awful taste.”
A third agreed: “Yeah, that’s not a hit.”
Drake’s song is accompanied by a music video directed by RT Thorne.
In it, the rapper plays a doctor in the hospital wearing medical gowns and a stethoscope.
Meanwhile, Lil Baby throws a booze-fueled party and Khaled gives a speech at a motivational event.
“Staying Alive” is the lead single from Khaled’s upcoming 13th album God Did.
In addition to Drake and Lil Baby, the album also features Jay-Z and will be released on August 26th.
New music aside, Drake recently made headlines after he was spotted cozying up with TikTok star Suede Brooks in St Tropez.

The 20-year-old rapper and social media star took a luxury boat trip together late last month and partied at beach bar Club 55.
It’s not clear how long the Certified Lover Boy star and the vlogger have been together.
However, a source told ET that the two were “having fun together” and “yacht hopping.”
The pair were reportedly spotted looking “cute” and “whispering in each other’s ears and laughing” while hanging out in St Tropez.
An insider claimed they have many mutual friends and that their pals “would advocate for them to spend more time together.”
Suede has 1.5 million followers on Instagram and over 335,000 subscribers on YouTube.
