Bill had to undergo surgery on his arm to repair the damage caused when he broke his elbow while fleeing a swarm of wasps.
Bill shared the details of the accident and revealed that he was unable to receive the “elective” surgery he needed due to Covid protocols.
He wrote: “Fun fact: When I was seven years old, I broke my right elbow after racing my bike down a hill. I was so out of breath that I passed out and woke up bloodied and broken.”
“Nothing nearly as exciting this time… As I tried to escape a small swarm of wasps, my mind forgot that my legs had never “run to or from anything,” even when being chased. ..and that’s how you plant an elbow on paving stones! That was 4 weeks ago, and since it wasn’t getting better, I went back for an X-ray.”

Dr. Jen sparked concern among fans again in August 2023 when she revealed more of Bill’s medical problems.
She posted a short clip of a train speeding by on the tracks.
The TLC star revealed to fans that she would be traveling from Boston to New York City.
In her caption, she shared more details of the trip, writing, “Unfortunately an urgent trip to New York City today for Bill’s spine.”
