Upon arrival, officers found three men with stab wounds.
Two of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene, while a third was hospitalized in serious condition.
Specially trained officials are now supporting the relatives of those involved.
No arrests were made, with police confirming it was a “contained incident”.
The ages of those involved have not been released and they have not yet been officially identified.
Carl Foster, Trainee Detective Superintendent from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, said: “This was a horrific incident in which two young men lost their lives and a third was seriously injured.
“I understand how worrying this will be for residents, but from what we know so far we believe this is a contained incident with no major ongoing threat to the public.
“There is absolutely no excuse for such violence and we will do everything we can to bring those responsible to justice.
“The area was quite busy at the time and I would urge anyone who saw what happened or anything leading up to it to contact the police.”
Anyone with information can call the police on 101 and specify Operation Crux.
