The Discontinued Foods page on Twitter posted the snap, which made hundreds of fans nostalgic for the flavor of the chips.

They wrote: “All-Night Cheeseburger Doritos (2009-ca. 2010): Part of the “Late Night” Doritos series that tasted just like a fast-food cheeseburger through the power of food science.”

“Including subtle layers of flavor from mustard, seasoned beef, pickles, cheese and lettuce,” they added.

Doritos fans across the platform left their comments, recalling the “pretty good” chip.

One wrote: “These tasted pretty good if I remember correctly. It’s almost scary how they were able to mimic the taste of lettuce in a chip.”

Another replied: “That was the absolute scariest part!”

A third said: “This taste was amazing. There was also one called like tacos at midnight or something. Was great too.”

One user added, “What the heck do these sound like absolute fire. How dare they take her away?”

A fifth joked, “The onion taste still hasn’t left my mouth.”

Another agreed, “The taste was awesome, it was better than eating a burger first… Then you ate the whole bag.”

This comes after popular Doritos flavor Jacked Ranch Dipped Hot Wings was unexpectedly discontinued last year, causing chaos among chip lovers.
