Doral police arrest in the city Garage shooting – CBS Miami

DORAL (CBSMiami) – An arrest has been made in connection with a shooting incident in the garage of a popular entertainment center in Doral.

Alex Arnaud has been detained for allegedly firing multiple shots during a melee that broke out Sunday night at CityPlace.

According to police, the fight started at one of the restaurants before spilling into the parking garage.

A witness said it through a man following a woman. The woman is said to have asked the man to leave her alone and he refused. He then allegedly attacked her.

The woman’s friends tried to come to her rescue, and that’s when the two groups of friends started feuding with each other.

During the fight, someone got calloused. That’s when Arnaud was accused of pulling out a gun and firing multiple shots.

“This is an individual currently looking at two serious felonies and he is sitting in jail,” said Doral police spokesman Rey Vales.

The 32-year-old man was charged with attempted murder, shooting in a public place and resisting an officer without violence.

No one was injured in the shooting.
