He made the statement on November 7, 2022, while speaking at a rally in Dayton, Ohio in support of Republican Senate nominee JD Vance, as well as other Republican candidates.

When was Donald Trump’s Florida home searched?
Trump previously stated that the FBI conducted a search of his Mar-a-Lago home on Aug. 8, 2022.
“My beautiful home, Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raid and occupation by a large group of FBI agents,” Trump said in a statement, adding, “They even broke into my safe . “
A person familiar with the situation told CNN that investigators appeared to be focusing on one area of the property, specifically his office and personal quarters.
Trump’s son Eric said in an interview with Fox News: “The purpose of the raid, they said, was because the National Archives wanted to confirm whether or not Donald Trump had any documents in his possession.”
Trump’s attorney Christina Bobb told CNN the FBI seized documents during the search.
Bobb told the outlet, “President Trump and his legal team have cooperated with FBI and DOJ officials at every step.”
She continued, “The FBI conducted an unannounced raid and confiscated paper.”

What did Trump say during his interview with Hugh Hewitt?
The rally comes after Trump’s viral interview with radio host Hugh Hewitt on September 15, 2022.
During the segment, Trump was asked what would happen if he was charged with keeping classified documents at his Florida home after leaving the White House.
To which he replied: “I think if it happened you would have problems in this country like perhaps we’ve never seen before. I don’t think the people of the United States would stand for that. “

Hewitt went on to warn Trump against his use of words: “You know the old media will say you’re trying to incite violence with that statement.”
Nevertheless, the ex-president replied: “That’s not, that’s not agitation. I’m just saying what’s my opinion. I don’t think the people of this country would stand for that.”
