Dog found in garbage bag in DeSoto County



DeSoto . County Sheriff’s Office shared that he found an old dog in a trash bag in Arcadia. This happened around 3pm near the intersection of NW Livingston Street and NW North Road.

DCSO said it received a call about an oddly shaped trash bag near that intersection. When representatives arrived on the scene, they opened the bag to find an elderly dog ​​that was severely malnourished.

Now, they are looking for information on the dog’s owner and anyone who may have dropped it in the trash.

The dog is being fed and treated by DeSoto County Animal Control.
