Does the Queen have Covid?

No, the Queen does not have Covid.

Her Majesty has since tested negative and has not met with her son since his diagnosis.

Andrew was due to join his mother for her Thanksgiving service at St Paul’s Cathedral on Friday but has now backed out.

The Queen is expected to conduct her regular services, with the Platinum Jubilee celebrations set to go ahead as planned.

Prince Andrew’s battle with Covid comes months after the Queen tested positive for coronavirus in February after suffering mild cold-like symptoms after contracting the virus.

It was later revealed that she had been in direct contact with Prince Charles two days before he tested positive on February 10.

Where is the Queen today?

The Queen is currently at Windsor Castle.

Her Majesty began her Platinum Jubilee celebrations with the Trooping the Color parade, during which the monarch appeared twice on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

The queen, dressed in a light blue coat dress and hat, holding a cane and shaded sunglasses, looked happy and healthy.

She was accompanied by Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla; Prince William and Kate Middleton and their three children; Princess Anne and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence; and the Queen’s youngest son, Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, his wife Countess Sophie and their two teenage children, James, Viscount Severn and Lady Louise Windsor.

The Queen is expected to make public appearances over the next few days, with celebrations continuing over a four-day bank holiday.

How is the Queen’s health?

Her Majesty is safe and sound, celebrating over 70 years of service as Queen.

The 96-year-old will this week become Britain’s longest-reigning monarch and the third-longest-serving monarch in world history.

However, after a hospital visit in October and contracting Covid in February, her public appearances have become less frequent.

This year, the Queen has missed the annual Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey, the Easter Sunday service, handed over hosting duties for her annual garden parties and represented her son for the State Opening of Parliament.

Buckingham Palace recently described the Queen’s recent health condition as her ongoing “episodic mobility problems”, but we’re told she is still fit and carrying out her duties from the comfort of Windsor Castle. Does the Queen have Covid?
