Netflix brought gifts this year, and we’re getting the best gift of all: Lindsay Lohan’s return to acting! We’re so excited to see the very talented star back in a project in her upcoming Christmas film, In love with Christmas. November 10th can’t come soon enough!

The film stars the leading lady herself as Sierra Belmont. Joining her on screen are Chord Overstreet as Jake, George Young as Tad, Olivia Perez, Jack Wagner, Chase Ramsey, Sean J. Dillingham and Antonio D. Charity.

The film centers on newly engaged and spoiled hotel heiress Sierra Belmont (Lohan). Suffering from total amnesia when she gets into a skiing accident, she finds herself in the care of a handsome cabin owner (Overstreet) and his precocious daughter (Perez) in the days leading up to Christmas. It’s the perfect recipe for the ultimate romantic comedy!

This holiday season, not only do we get the gift of the actress’ return to the industry, but once you’ve seen the trailer, there’s one more nice surprise in store. And it’s so fetch!

On October 7th, Netflix released the official trailer for the new film. The first look video reveals Sierra’s accident, her infatuation with Jake and his adorable daughter, and a hint of a possible love triangle if her family and fiancée manage to find her.

But the biggest surprise of all is the main musical track. Watching the video, longtime fans of Lindsay Lohan will recognize a familiar tune and voice she sings. That’s correct! It’s actually Lohan himself singing the infamous “Jingle Bell Rock” in the trailer.

Any fan of the 2004 film mean girls, in which Lohan starred as Cady Heron, will recall that the Plastics sang the same song at the Winter Talent Show. When Gretchen accidentally breaks the CD player while performing their dance, they are unable to continue. Until Cady starts singing “Jingle Bell Rock.”

And now we hear Lohan cover it again! Not only that, This is what Netflix announced Lohan’s cover of the iconic song will be available to stream starting November 4th. You can now pre-save the tune via Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music.
