A new season of stranger things is now streaming on Netflix and there are many things to love about the new season. Chief among them is Eddie Munson, Hawkins’ newest villain with a heart of gold!
Eddie, played by British actor Joseph Quinn, is a high school senior who runs Hawkins High School’s Dungeons and Dragons club, The Hellfire Club. Even though Eddie is a bad boy and a tough guy, there’s so much more to the character than meets the eye!
As the season progresses, the writers pull the layers off Eddie, who quickly emerges as the breakthrough favorite stranger things Season 4…which has many wondering to worry about him becoming the latest breakout favorite in a line of beloved characters to meet an untimely end.

Does Eddie Die in Season 4 of Stranger Things?
if you watch stranger things Season 4 Part 1 and are wondering if you shouldn’t get too attached to Eddie, we think you’ll enjoy the update we have for you!
While Eddie finds himself on the run and in some precarious situations this season, we can confirm that Eddie doesn’t die in Season 4 – at least not in Part 1.
With two episodes coming this season, there’s always a chance that Eddie could die in Part 2, but he’s very much alive and well when we leave him in the Season 4 Part 1 finale.
Considering the majority of the season’s deaths were new characters, there’s a chance Eddie may be living on borrowed time. However, there also seems to be a good argument that the odds could be in his favor as the series certainly wouldn’t kill off every new character we meet this season, right?
Given how popular he’s become with audiences, it’s going to be an emotional day when Eddie dies in Part 2, so we’re sending nothing but good cheer to our favorite Hellfire Club member.
