Vikings: Valhalla didn’t waste time becoming a hit with subscribers, but does everyone need to see the popular TV series’ predecessor Vikings to fully appreciate what Netflix Historical movies have to offer?

The History Channel’s first scripted series exceeded expectations in every possible way and became a huge hit with fans during its six seasons. And its next, Vikings: Valhalla, did quite the same, became a topping the charts effort that subscribers can’t seem to make enough from start to finish.

The film is set 100 years after the events of the original and focuses on Leif Erikson, his sister Freydis Eiríksdóttir, Harald Hardrada, and the Norman King William the Conqueror. So far, the story has been an extremely enjoyable experience, with fans eagerly waiting to see what happens next. was announced second and third seasons of the show.

But can one enjoy it to the fullest? approved experience Vikings: Valhalla must deliver if they don’t get to witness the glory of the original Vikings series? After consulting a number of prophecies, it was certain that a solution to this problem was within reach.

The easy answer to this dilemma is no. Viewers can enter Valhalla without seeing Vikings and fully enjoy everything about Netflix series. The show is not a sequel but a fresh plot with the necessary context in each carefully choreographed episode.

The show includes references, homage, and easter eggs from the History channel series, but that challenge is entirely separate. Their legacy is honored, but the purpose is to Vikings: Valhalla to create its own place in history.
