Disturbing new details about Kobe Bryant’s accident scene emerge as the firefighter reveals what still haunts him

A LOS Angeles firefighter who was at the scene of the helicopter crash that killed Kobe Bryant, his daughter and seven others testified Monday about his trauma from the crash.

Jordan has been accused by Kobe’s widow, Vanessa Bryant, of publicly sharing the gruesome photos of Kobe, her daughter Gianna, 13, and the bodies of the other victims.

Vanessa’s suit claims that Jordan took graphic, tightly cropped photos of body parts at the crime scene, but Jordan claims he only did what was instructed by him and denied not sharing the photos properly.

As Vanessa’s attorneys described the photos of the body parts, Jordan repeatedly exited the courtroom.

“It was awful and kept me from work,” he said.

Jordan retired in 2021 and testified that he mentally blocked the day.

“I was there. I don’t remember being there. Please stop describing the scene to me,” he said.

“Please refrain from bringing my brain back to that crash site. I’m not sure what I photographed.”

When asked if he photographed Kobe’s remains, Jordan asked to take a break and leave the courtroom.

Upon his return, he said, “I have an image in my head that is not pleasant.”

“The way that whole scene looked will haunt me forever,” he said.

LEAKED PHOTOS

On October 23, 2021, it was reported that Vanessa testified at a deposition hearing following a lawsuit she filed against Los Angeles County.

According to her statement, she kept the clothes that Kobe and his daughter were wearing at the time of the crash.

She was also reportedly asked about her husband’s leaked photos, which were posted on social media.

The 41-year-old NBA legend and his daughter were en route to Mamba Academy for basketball practice when their private helicopter crashed at 1 p.m. ET.

Kobe’s Sikorsky-76 helicopter crashed in fog in the Calabasas Mountains northwest of Los Angeles.

Vanessa, his wife of 20, was reportedly horrified when California police officers were accused of showing horrific photos of the tragedy.

Vanessa’s attorney described the allegations that police officers shared photos of the victims’ remains at a bar as “an unspeakable violation of human decency, respect and the privacy rights of the victims and their families.”

He urged those who shared the photos to “submit to the strictest discipline and have their identities brought to light to ensure the photos are not shared further.”

“VERY, VERY DISTURBING”

A young California police officer has allegedly released photos of the NBA legend’s body to impress a woman at a bar.

Bryant’s lawsuit alleged that photos were distributed to at least 10 members of the department within 48 hours of the crash.

According to the lawsuit, a member of parliament took between 25 and 100 photos of the scene of the accident with his mobile phone.

There are also some disturbing allegations about what these lawmakers did to the photos of Kobe, Gianna, 13, and the other passengers.

The second part of the lawsuit she shared included allegations that officer Joey Cruz showed accident photos to a bartender at the Baja California Bar and Grill in Norwalk, California.

One of the customers described his alleged actions as “very, very disturbing”.

Cruz is also accused of showing his niece’s photos.

He is also said to have made “a crude remark about the condition of the remains of the victims.”

The lawsuit alleges that Mejia, who was assigned to the crash site, received photos from firefighters on the day of the crash.

He then allegedly went over to chat with a female MP who was not involved in the investigation – and texted her on her phone for no other reason than “morbid gossip”.

Mejia is accused of leaking the photos to Cruz, then an assistant intern in the lawsuit.

Another officer, Deputy Michael Russell, allegedly sent photos to a friend with whom he “plays video games every night.”

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies linked to the leak were told they would not face any problems if they deleted the images, the Los Angeles Times reported.
