Disturbing details emerge when Robert Telles is arrested after he stabbed Las Vegas reporter Jeff German

An elected official has been arrested after a reporter who allegedly ran a “smear campaign” against him was mysteriously stabbed to death.

Clack County Public Administrator Robert Telles was arraigned on suspicion of murder Wednesday night.

Police arrived at Telle’s home in tactical gear before the elected officer was shockingly wheeled out on a stretcher.

This comes after Las Vegas Review-Journal reporter Jeff German was found stabbed to death on Saturday morning.

Telles, who was an elected Democrat in 2018, lost re-election after German published a series of condemning investigative stories.

German revealed allegations that Telles created a hostile work environment and also had an “inappropriate relationship” with an employee.

In the week of his death, he had been working on a follow-up story about Telles.

“The arrest of Robert Telles is a tremendous relief and outrage to the Review Journal’s editorial board,” said Executive Editor Glenn Cook.

“We are relieved that Telles is in custody and appalled that a colleague was apparently killed for reporting on an elected official.”
