Arseblog revealed that the 2023-24 third kit will pay tribute to the iconic green and blue kit from the 1982-83 season.

And Footy Headlines made a model of what that might look like.

However, the design is not well received by some fans.

The design featured a green base color with dark blue sleeves and white trim, similar to the 82-83 kit.

While Footy Headlines said the design was “highly speculative”, Arsenal fans were still unnerved by the possible color of next season’s third kit.

Part of a tweet read: “It’s a no from all of us @adidasfootball @adidasUK @arsenal.”

Another joked: “I guess becoming a good team means terrible kits. The price we have to pay.”

A third said: “Please just stop. Stop it!”

And a fourth quipped: “My eyes hurt.”

However, there were some fans who liked the design.

One happy supporter wrote: “Yes! In my opinion a tribute to one of our best jerseys ever!”

Another added: “Love this shirt.”

A yellow away kit for the 23-24 season was also “leaked” online last month.
