Haney eventually beat Kambosos Jr. twice to win all four jewels and set up a huge showdown in Las Vegas with Ukraine’s Lomachenko, who has been following an undisputed fight for years.
The 35-year-old beat Jamaine Ortiz last time out and then stared at Haney in the ring.
But the pair will finally be mating with gloves on in the coming weeks, with the winner being touted for a big fight against Gervonta Davis.
