Derry Girls Season 3 release date has been confirmed for October 2022

The day we’ve all been waiting for is finally here. Netflix has announced the official release date for Derry girls Season 3 and we are so excited to share it with you! It’s been a long time coming, but Netflix subscribers will soon be able to turn their eyes to the third and final season of the teen series.

Derry girls Season 3 was first aired on April 12, 2022 on British television Channel 4. After a six-week run, the teen series ended on May 17th. But luckily the fans were given 45 minutes Derry girls extended special episode titled “The Agreement” following the series finale.

Critics and viewers had mostly positive things to say about the special and the third season overall, but were saddened that the show would not be returning for a fourth season. However, most people were just glad the show didn’t end early.

Now it’s time we watch Netflix Lifers Derry girls Season 3 for us. The third and final season is due out on Netflix this October!

Derry Girls Season 3 Release Date on Netflix

On August 31, Netflix announced this Derry girls release date of season 3 on his official twitter account. So get ready to mark your calendars, clear your schedule, and set your alarm for the third and final season of Derry girls Coming to Netflix on Friday October 7th, 2022!

As with previous seasons of the teen series, you can expect Derry girls Season 3 will be released on Netflix on October 7 at 12:00 p.m. PT / 3:00 p.m. ET. Of course, these times only apply to people living on the West Coast and East Coast of the U.S. In the central time zone, you can expect Season 3 to fall at 2:00 PM CT on the release date.

We had a hunch that Season 3 would be coming to Netflix in late 2022, but the closer we got to the end of the year, the more anxious we became. I mean, there was a possibility that season 3 could come in 2023, although the odds were slim.

Luckily, we don’t have to worry about a 2023 release because Derry girls Season 3 is coming to Netflix this October!
