DEREK CHISORA has revealed the heaviest-hitting heavyweight he’s ever fought… and it’s not who you’d expect.
The 38-year-old has made a name for himself in his 15-year professional career as a fighter who will take on anyone.
He will face Kubrat Pulev for the second time on Saturday night to avenge his loss to the Russian in 2016 and end a streak of three straight defeats.
Chisora has shared the ring with the likes of Vitali Klitschko, David Haye, Tyson Fury, Pulev, Dillian Whyte, Oleksandr Usyk and Joseph Parker.
But it’s a much lesser-known man he calls the hardest puncher he’s encountered.
When asked by talkSPORT, the Briton simply replied: “The Welsh Beef”.
The man he was referring to was Welsh heavyweight Darren Morgan.
Chisora fought Morgan in only his third professional fight in 2007.
He claimed a four-round points win over the Swansea-based fighter but has now confirmed he had the biggest punch he’s ever faced.
Morgan hung up his gloves in 2014, ending with a record eight wins and five losses – with six of his wins coming by KO.

However, he failed to KO Chisora - something Whyte and Haye pulled off with aplomb.
Fury also forced Del Boy to retire on his stool during their rematch in 2014.
Meanwhile, Chisora, who hasn’t won a fight since 2019, has talked about retiring if he loses to Pulev on Saturday night.
But he has indicated that he doesn’t have much time.
He said: “Rather than turning gray or silver with age, my beard is turning orange – maybe we’ll call it gold – but I’m not going to dye it, damn it.
“I don’t know how to deal with retirement. I’m not retiring, but I’m on my way out.
“Consider this my encore and I’m going to give the fans some great rock ‘n’ roll anthems as a farewell.
“How many times have we been told the Rolling Stones have retired and then you hear the guitar intro ‘da, da, dadada, da, da, da, I can’t no…'”
