Derek Carr was brutally roasted as NFL fans dubbed the Pro Bowl skill performance the “best of his career.”
DEREK Carr put on a stunning show at the Pro Bowl – and let his team know about it.
The quarterback played for the AFC in Thursday night’s Skills Showdown.
And he had boldly attacked his team, the Las Vegas Raiders, after his strong showing at their training facility.
Carr scored 31 points in the Precision Passing contest – the most of any six competitors.
And he was asked by ESPN reporter Ryan Clark if he’d ever been “that hot” at the Raiders facility.
Carr replied, “Not that hot — that’s probably why I’m going somewhere else.”
His comments came after he was benched by the Raiders for the final two weeks of the season.
He is slated to be traded to a new team this off-season after officially bowing out last month.
And fans toasted the quarterback after his epic performance Thursday night, too.
One tweeted: “He increases his trade value for the Raiders. Super nice guy!”
Another said: “Biggest win of his career so far.”
And another wrote: “Put some rushers there and see if he’s that accurate. He had 14 ints this year!”
The revamped Pro Bowl kicked off Thursday night with the first half of the Skills Showdown.
After four tackles, Peyton Manning’s AFC team led 9-3 ahead of Eli Manning’s NFC.
Four more games will follow on Sunday before flag football showdowns take place.
