The Denver Fire Department confirmed the fire is at Mile High and shared photos of their crews battling the blazes.

The cause of the fire has not yet been announced as officials are investigating.

Empower Field also confirmed the fire on twitter: “A small fire that broke out at a construction site near the East Club Lounge at Empower Field in Mile High has been contained @Denver_Fire.

“This area of the stadium was evacuated quickly as a precaution and there were no injuries.”

The Denver FD said the fire originated on the suite level (400) and spread to the club level seats and spread “over 1,000 square feet.”

Officials confirmed that the fire “affected the suite and seating area on the third level.”

Denver Fire spokesman Greg Pixley said an event was taking place on the second level when the fire broke out.

Pixley estimates there were at least 100 people in the stadium at the time.

The department confirmed the fire was under control by 2:45 p.m. local time.

About six rows of seats in two sections near the suites were destroyed in the incident.

The DFD spokesman said the fire was burning hot, with large flames and black smoke, as petroleum products were used to make the seats.

They added that sprinklers were trying to stop the fire but firefighters were needed to complete the extinguishing.

The stadium confirmed no injuries were sustained and that the building was “evacuated quickly as a precaution”.

It added that the fire started in a construction zone near the East Club Lounge.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found heavy fire and smoke.

One person claimed they drove past the building and saw “at least 8-10 fire engines on the way there.”

The smoke could be seen by drivers on I-25, images showed.

While the Broncos are not currently playing at the stadium, several shows are scheduled to take place in the coming months.
