Deji’s brother KSI ready for return
YouTube star KSI is targeting a return to boxing “later this year” or early 2023 – his first fight since the rematch with Logan Paul – after supporting his brother Deji’s fight against Alex Wassabi.
The British celebrity, also a chart-topping rapper, drew in a boxing show with Paul, 26, in 2018.
The pair then controversially turned pro a year later for a rematch which KSI, 28 and aka JJ, won by split decision.
The competitors have now become business partners by launching a drink together, the latest venture in KSI’s hectic schedule.
That busy schedule is largely responsible for the former player’s absence from the ring, but according to one of his coaches, Leon Wills, a comeback is being targeted.
Wills told GiveMeSport: “JJ has told me he wants to fight either later this year or early next year. He said that.
“But it’s just about time. He’s a top boy at everything he does; in music he is a top artist, on YouTube he is a top YouTuber.
“Now he has a drinks company with Logan, it’s hard to find the time.
“So if he can put all that aside and practice boxing and focus on boxing, then 100 percent.”
