Declan Rice and David Moyes win as West Ham win London Football Awards again

DECLAN RICE insists he owes his success to boss David Moyes after the duo once again won top gongs for West Ham at the London Football Awards.
The hammers have had another impressive season.
and Outstanding Actor Rice – who was named Young Player of the Year in 2019 – received the Premier League Player of the Year award.
The 23-year-old England midfielder also got the better of team-mate Jarrod Bowen Chelsea trio Jorginho, Antonio Ruediger and Thiago Silva.
moyes was also awarded the Manager of the Year trophy for the second year in a row.
Rice said: “I’m delighted. This complements the Young Player of the Year award I received a couple of years ago – that goes in the trophy case for sure!”
Palace ace Conor Gallagher, 22, on loan from Chelsea, was named Young Player of the Year after winning his first cap for England last November.
And Australian blues batting legend Sam Kerr won the women’s award.
But it was the Hammers who had the most to celebrate.

He said: “In the early days I was very young and I was learning my trade and playing in central defence.
“Then it was funny because when he came back for the second spell, he came up to me and said to me, ‘You’re feeling better, aren’t you?!’
“I looked at him and started laughing and from that moment we had such a good relationship.
“The confidence he puts in me is tremendous and means I can go out there and perform when a manager has that belief in me.”
Rice added, “It’s good to be looked at like that. I wouldn’t be here without the manager.”
