During Netflix’s TUDUM fan event, James Marsden showed up to present the trailer for dead to me’s final season, which also revealed the release date. Prepare to see how it all ends when dead to me Season 3 premieres on Thursday 17 Nov.

How things ended in Season 2 and based on the popularity of the series, dead to me Getting renewed for a third season was pretty much a guarantee. Normally we would have expected the final season to premiere around the same time as the other seasons, but this wasn’t a typical year.

Although the cast and crew began filming Season 3 in May 2021, production has been “temporarily halted” to respect Applegate’s privacy. Netflix released a statement in support of Applegate and giving her the time she needs. The season also faced delays and setbacks throughout its 2021 production due to the pandemic.

Dead to Me season 3 cast

Spoiler Alert! If you haven’t caught up with both seasons of the black comedy, please be aware that there are spoilers surrounding the characters’ fates.

It’s a guarantee that Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini will return to reprise their roles of Jen and Judy, respectively. After all, this story is about the two women and their strong bond. Not to mention that they aren’t out of the water after Steve’s (James Marsden) death.

Speaking of James Marsden, the handsome actor will also return to reprise the role of Steve in flashbacks and Ben (Steve’s twin brother) in the present.

Brandon Scott’s character, Nick, is also still heavily involved in the mystery, as is Detective Perez, portrayed by Diana-Maria Riva. We will probably also see Jen’s children.

Michelle (Natalie Morales) hasn’t appeared in the last few episodes, we’re not sure if this chapter is over or if she’ll be coming back.

Dead to Me Season 3 Summary

In the last moments of dead to me Season 2 Jen and Judy were in a car accident. The person who hit her was none other than Ben, who shockingly leaves the scene. Season 3 will likely continue this issue as Jen and Judy try to learn more about who hit their car.

As already mentioned, the mysterious disappearance of Steve was not solved. We’re assuming his body was found, which is why Ben was drunk when he hit the car, but we’re still not sure of the details.

While the first look clip doesn’t reveal much about the final season, a recap of where we last left Jen and Judy leads to the besties in the hospital after the car crash at the end of season two. And they drop f-bombs like nobody!
