Washington, D.C., officers are altering their course of for clearing homeless encampments after an individual who lived in an area camp was reportedly picked up by a Bobcat front-end loader on Monday.

The Bobcat was pushing tents and their contents over a three-foot-tall metallic rail to clear the camp when it mistakenly picked up a tent with a person nonetheless inside it, in response to WTOP, an area radio station in D.C.
