David Ramsey Stars as Arrow’s Diggle in ‘Justice U’ Series at The CW

John Diggle probably wasn’t destined to be the Green Lantern, but it looks like he’ll pave the way for several heroes to become heroes in a new series in development at The CW.

Arrowverse veterinarian David Ramsey is set to reprise his role as Diggle in U.S. Justice, a new series written by Michael Narducci (Diary of a vampire) and Zoanne Clack (Grey’s Anatomy).

According to the official synopsis, “After years of fighting alongside masked heroes, John Diggle embarks on a new mission to recruit five young superheroes to live in secrecy as a college student. at a prestigious university. There, he will oversee their upbringing and train them to be the heroes of tomorrow. ”

Ramsey will also direct the pilot, in case the project gets underway at The CW.

Are from ArrowWrapping up nearly two years ago, Ramsey went on a tour of the rest of the Arrowverse shows, appearing here and there his portrayal of Diggle – who ostensibly (but not quite in fact) struggled with some sort of “calling” ever since he found something glowing green at the end of the Arrow series – while also directing episodes of each series.

Ramsey’s latest directorial effort, cho Superman & Lois, which will air next Tuesday (in addition to a script by Narducci and Kristi Korzec), followed by his latest Diggle encore on Wednesday Batwoman.
