David Ornstein names winger Arsenal could bid on now

David Ornstein has told NBC Sports that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal could switch for Brighton and Hove Albion winger Leandro Trossard in the January transfer window after missing Mykhailo Mudryk to Graham Potter’s Chelsea.

The Athletic journalist said Trossard could “watch out” on Arsenal as the Gunners step up their offer to bring in a winger this month.

As reported by Sky Sports, Arsenal were keen to sign Mudryk but the 22-year-old Ukraine international joined Premier League rivals Chelsea instead.

TalkSPORT, have reported that Arsenal are interested in Trossard and have 90min.

The 28-year-old Belgium international has reportedly fallen out with Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi and has been flown to Brussels.

The winger is looking to leave the Seagulls in the January transfer window.

Ornstein said: “You also saw Leandro Trossard from Brighton and Hove Albion. He has fallen out of favor very publicly at the club. So that could be observed, but I don’t know anything about active movements at this point.”

Could there be a January transfer?

If Arsenal are determined to sign Leandro Trossard in the January transfer window, we believe they can strike a deal with Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion.

Brighton will certainly not want to keep Trossard against his will and will be happy to pass him on for a good transfer fee.

Now of course Arsenal have to make a good offer but remember they have the money they were willing to spend on Mudryk.
