LEGENDARY film editor David Brenner has tragically passed away at the age of 59.
His wife Amber told The Hollywood Reporter The iconic cinematographer passed away at his home in West Hollywood on Thursday afternoon.

Brenner has made several blockbuster films including Zack Snyder’s Justice League and won an Academy Award for Oliver Stone’s Born On the Four in July 1990.
The American Film Editors – of which Brenner is a longtime member – have set up a GoFundMe page for fans to raise money to help support his family.
Fans raised $46,000 (£33,000) in less than 24 hours and that number continues to grow.
“He is an extraordinary editor and a loving, compassionate family man,” the group said.
“In an effort to support David’s family during this terrible time, Lightstorm Entertainment has created a GoFundMe account.
“More important than any financial support this can provide, is the opportunity to let his wife Amber and his children Annie, Haider and Sasha know how much David has reached. another life.”
Zack Snyder also paid his respects, posting on social media: “Heartbroken at the news that I have lost dear friend and collaborator David Brenner… The best man, A father and husband lovingly, A talented artist… you’ll be sorely missed.”
Roland Emmerich – who worked with Brenner on Independence Day, Patriots, After Tomorrow and 2012 – shared a loving tribute on Facebook.
“We extend our deepest sympathies and sincere condolences to Amber, Anna, Haider and Sasha on the sad and tragic passing of OSCAR – winning film editor David Brenner,” he wrote. , a beloved husband and father, as well as a dear and very talented friend.”
Brenner is survived by his wife and children Anna, Haider and Sasha.
