Dave Chappelle’s Hollywood Bowl hitter Isaiah Lee has been sentenced to just 9 months in prison after assaulting a comedian on stage

DAVE Chappelle’s Hollywood Bowl hitter has been sentenced to less than a year in prison after assaulting the comedian on stage during a live event.

Isaiah Lee, 24, was sentenced to nine months in prison after striking a plea deal with prosecutors.

Lee pleaded no contest to two misdemeanors, including entering a restricted area during a live event and battery.

The 24-year-old aggressor will serve 270 days in the Los Angeles County Jail.

Lee – holding a replica gun – stormed onto the stage where Chappelle was performing on May 3 and attacked the comedian.

Photos of the gun showed a knife attached to the barrel of a gun, similar to a bayonet.

The gun was a replica, but the knife was real.

During an interview in prison, Lee told the New York Post that he was “triggered” by Chappelle’s anti-LGBTQ+ jokes and “inspired” by Will Smith’s swipe at Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars.

“I identify as bisexual … and I wanted him to know what he’s triggering,” Lee told the outlet.

“I wanted him to know that next time he should consider letting his material run by people it might affect first.”

On the night of the incident, Lee was taken to the hospital after being seriously injured by Chappelle’s security team.

He was reportedly being punched and kicked by 10 Chappelle security guards when he was caught and thrown to the ground.

Actor Jamie Foxx helped arrest the attacker.

Chappelle, who was not injured, said during the event: “Whenever you’re in trouble, Jamie Foxx will show up with a sheriff’s hat.”

Foxx reportedly said, “I thought that was part of the show.”

He added: “Listen, I just want to say… this man is an absolute genius. We must make sure we protect him at all times.

“For any comedian that comes out of here, it means everything. You are a genius. You are a legend and we will not let anything happen to you.”

Funnyman Rock made a joke and asked if the attacker was Smith.

Chappelle claimed to have stepped on the alleged assailant, allegedly boasting, “I’ve always wanted to do that.”
