Undefeated lightweight sensation Ryan Garcia returns to the ring when he takes on Emmanuel Tagoe in San Antonio.

The Flash, 23, has not fought since January 2021 when he won the vacant WBC lightweight title by defeating Luke Campbell.

Garcia was too quick for the Brit that night, scoring a TKO win in the seventh round to extend his impressive pro record to 21-0.

The California-born fighter took a break to focus on his mental health after pulling out a fight against Javier Fortuna last April.

He meets a handy opponent in undefeated Ghanian Tagoe, a third fight on American soil and a former IBO lightweight champion.

‘Gameboy’ defeated Mason Menard in their last fight in November 2020 but will also have to shake off ring rust after a long absence.

When does Garcia play Tagoe?
