EFL has confirmed in a Twitter statement that VAR will be used in the championship play-off finals that year.

This will be the first time VAR will be introduced in a match between two Championship clubs.

Meanwhile, the league says “discussions are ongoing over the use of VAR in the finals of League One and Two”.
