DARWIN NUNEZ has been brutally trolled as “modern-day Andy Carroll.”
That’s after hilarious video footage emerged showing the Liverpool star rolling over a team-mate before firing a shot wide in training.
Nunez, 23, is currently on international duty with Uruguay.
The South Americans meet Iran and Canada in friendlies this month.
The World Cup adventure against South Korea will start in November.
Nunez, who has scored twice in 11 games for Uruguay, will be a key player.
But he may have given manager Diego Alonso a headache after a disastrous performance in training.
Nunez fought with a teammate over a loose ball, knocking his pal down first with a clear foul.
The forward then charged from the wing towards goal before ordering a shot on target.
However, Nunez’s attempt was terrible, the ball flying wide and almost hitting the corner flag.

Football fans couldn’t believe their eyes as Liverpool’s £85million summer signing brought a touch worthy of the Sunday league.
Nunez has scored just one goal in three league games since joining from Benfica.
And they were quick to take to Twitter to claim Nunez reminded them of a former big-money striker at Anfield.
One cheeky fan explained, “Modern Andy Carroll.”
Another said: “Did Liverpool scouts watch him before signing him?
“I know he has scored a lot of goals in the Portuguese league but he will fight in the Prem.”
One remarked: “Be honest, it’s a hoax, whether a shot or a cross.”
Another added: “How did Benfica cheat Liverpool so badly?”
