Day three at Edgbaston took a surprising turn when someone dressed as a Star Wars character was escorted off the premises.

It is not known what the man in the costume did to get himself thrown out.

Fans were furious as television cameras captured the incident.

Many came out of Star Wars with puns, one saying, “The referee hits back.”

Another added: “The squad will be waiting for him.”

Just for another supporter to take it a step further and say, “May the foursome be with you.”

Since it was Father’s Day, the joke was, “Darth Vader isn’t leading by example again as a father.”

Others speculated as to why he was removed: “He walked onto the field… and became the pitcher in VADER.”

More laughed at the fact that the film’s title should be changed from Revenge of the Sith to Revenge of the Six.

It was an action-packed day at Ashes after England star Moeen Ali was spotted breaking the rules on camera.

During the first test, he was spotted illegally drying his hand with a spray.
